At "Safer Tallahassee", our goal is to get the Criminals off the Streets and sent to Jail or Prison. We will advocate to STOP coddling the Criminals,
to hand down proper Charges and to give longer sentences to Violent and Repeat Offenders. If you really want to lower the Crime Rate, we have to first come to the realization that the
Programs the Commissioners have spent $Millions on did not and are not working. We need to seriously get tougher on the Criminals and accurate Charges need to be levied on the Crimes they
committed. Most of the Crimes committed should receive Jail or Prison Time as well as Probation, Community Service and Fines. We also need to let the Criminals know that we have had enough
and will not put up with it any more.
Even small Crimes should see Jail Times, as well as Probation, Community Service and Fines. I would also like to see a special Bail Fee created. If you get arrested
and your Bail is set at $10,000 the Bail Bondsman usually just gets 10% to bond you out. The Bond Fee is $100 for every $1,000 the Bond is so instead of having to come up with $1,000 to Bound
Out, you will need $2,000 and the $1,000 Bond Fee goes towards the building a New bigger Jail. Before you say that they can not afford that extra $1,000 to Bond Out, well, I guess they should
have thought of that BEFORE they committed the Crime. The City and County shoud run Advertisements about these changes. ALL Criminals need to be treated the same no matter the Race or their
Upbringing.
